On April 18, 2001 he was granted “Sodruzhestvo” award by the Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member-states.
On November 4, 2001 he was granted the top of the Orthodox Church the “Saint Andreas” order by Bartholomew I, the Ecumenical Constantinople Patriarch.
On January 21, 2001 he was awarded the prize for the outstanding activity for strengthening the unity of orthodox peoples for the year 2001 of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Peoples.
On February 11, 2002 he was awarded the Order of Honour of France
On 2003 was awarded the Gold Medal of F.Nansen, Laureate of Peace Reward.
On 2004 was awarded Order Cossack All Ukrainian “Cossack Cross”
On 2006 was awarded Order by Peter Great I and II degrees (Russia)
On 2007 was awarded Order by A.Gorchakov I degree (Russia)
Twice was awarded the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Armenia the nominal weapon
